This is my first week having to to one workout a week at the box and the rest at the YMCA. I did yoga/pilaties with my husband on Monday and on my own on Wednesday. Let me tell you, it's just not the same. The Valley Y has very limited space. If they got rid of 10 cardio machines that would help a lot! They also wouldn't let me use the kettle bells becasue they, "Just don't have enough room." Pissshhh...SO I swong a rubber plate.
Overall I got a good workout. I'm following my boxes rogramming and Competitors WOD.
Here was my WOD:
1. Metcon
For Time:
1K Row
immediately followed by 21-15-9 of:
KBS, 70/53
Burpees
2. Clean and Jerk
1 Squat Clean and Jerk OTM x 12 at 75%
3. Squats
A. Back Squat 2x3
B. Front Squat 10x1 across
I really loved lifting with the meat heads. I liked being the only chick in the weight room. I'm also pretty sure the guy that was lifting next to me always skipps leg day.
